「破墨プロジェクト」とは8世紀の中国で行われていた、アクションやパフォーマンスを横断する墨を用いた芸術表現「破墨」について考察し、現代へ再構築を試みるプロジェクトです。日本画家、神楽舞手、ファッションデザイナー、美術家など、表現領域を横断したメンバーが共同し活動を続けています。

本冊子は破墨プロジェクトが始動して最初の2年間、2018年2月から2020年1月までの活動をまとめたガイドブックです。
半透明の破墨プロジェクト特製封筒（角２サイズ）とドローイングポスターが付属しています。封筒はフライヤーや今後の活動で展開してゆく印刷物などのアイテムを収集してゆくためのものです。ドローイングポスターは、今回の本を作成する中で派生した、メンバー4人による全紙サイズの原寸大の描き下ろしです。

The Haboku Project is a multi-field joint project based in C.A.P./KOBE STUDIO Y3. It is centered around four artists: Kazuya Yamashita (Japanese painting artist), Miho Takayasu (actor and kagura dancer), Yoshiyuki Sumino (fashion designer), and Misaki Shibayama (artist). In an attempt to reconstruct haboku for the modern era, the project examines this 8th-century Chinese artistic expression which crosses into what we now know as ‘action’ or ‘performance’ art. 
The booklet "Haboku project" is a guidebook to the  project that summarizes of the Haboku Project from February 2018 to January 2020, the first two years of its existence. A poster of the four members "Keyword Drawing" and the original translucent envelope are attached.
